Official promos released for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Gear S
Samsung has released a couple of videos to promote the features on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Gear S. The phablet and the smartwatch were both unveiled on Wednesday. The Galaxy Note 4 video shows the device floating through the air as various features are revealed, such as the premium metal design of the device. The S Pen is mentioned, of course, as are the colors that the phablet is available in: Charcoal Black, Bronze Gold, Blossom Pink and Frost White.

There are plenty of new features on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, including the fast charging capability that allows the device to recharge from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes. Speaking of battery life, the Note 4 will offer the Ultra Power Saving Mode, which allows the phone to live on for 24 hours even when it is down to 10% battery life. To do this, only the most basic functions are available. You can make/take calls and text messages and run the Calculator, stock web browser, Email app and Google+. As long as you stick with the phone, messaging and the internet, you can change which apps will work when the mode is enabled.

The manufacturer has also released an official video for the Samsung Gear S smartwatch. The wearable features a 2 inch, curved Super AMOLED display. The timepiece is available in Blue Black and Pure White, and has a combined notification screen, and an on-screen virtual QWERTY. The specs include a dual-core 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of native storage. And did we tell you that Tizen is pre-installed out of the box? Unlike many smartwatches which require you to pair them with a smartphone, the Samsung Gear S will allow you to make or take stand-alone calls right from your wrist.

Samsung has a couple of hot devices with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Gear S smartwatch. Check out the official promotional videos for each one by viewing the video slideshow below.

Wish the Note4/Edge4 were both out at the same time, so it would be easier to choose between them. I'm intrigued by the "edge" display, but don't want it as my daily driver if the ergonomics suck.

These 2 vids show off the new features very well, and they realy temp me with all those features. I actually want a Gear S now just because of this promo video. It looks so free and so comfortable especially when they're running in the video. That's the experience I think everybody would want to have while running. With the Gear S being a standalone device, we can forget about all those arm bands, phone juggling around in the pocket, or a kinda not-very-nice feeling when you have to hold the phone in your hand for the whole time running. I always feel the need of carrying my phone when running in the park because I want to stay connected. With the Gear S, no more of that. I'm not really sure that I will buy one, but it just seems so nice. Maybe the device won't live up to what the video is making me believe right now, but I'll wait and see. ____________________________ The Note 4 looks awesome there, but the Gear S video is telling me: "Screw phones."

I like that the Galaxy Gear too because I do running every morning and I carry my iPhone everytime and even if I am on the gym I wish the iPhone 6 and iWatch the same like this so that I will not carry everytime my iPhone when I do running and go to the gym.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I must say Tizen OS on smartwatch looks more funtional, simple & better than the android wear.
