Official Nexus 9 Keyboard Folio case now available to buy via Google Play
If you want to turn your Google Nexus 9 tablet into a mini laptop you can now do that by buying the official Nexus 9 Keyboard Folio case. Available to order from Google Play, the accessory can be shipped in 1-2 business days.

Similar to Microsoft’s Surface Type Cover, the Keyboard Folio for Google’s Nexus 9 attaches magnetically and pairs wirelessly to the tablet. It can be folded in two ways, and, when closed, it acts as a protective cover for the Nexus slate (somewhat resembling Apple’s iPad Smart Cover). What about the price? Well, the Keyboard Folio costs $129.00 - so it’s on par with the Microsoft Type Cover from this point of view.

If, for some reason, you don’t want to get it via Google Play, the Nexus 9 Keyboard Folio will also be offered by Amazon. However, for now Amazon can’t say when it will be able to ship it.

As for the Nexus 9 itself, this is available for prices starting at $399 (16 GB, Wi-Fi only). You can read our Nexus 9 review to find out more about the tablet.

$130 seems very overpriced IMO Even the $100 Logitech ones are overpriced They should have priced it at around $50

$50 is a bit low. I agree $130 is high, but $74.99 would have been a great price point

Ehhhh, my nexus 9 is too small for my needs, my Xperia Tablet S is 9.4" I'll need at least that. I'll wait for HTCs next true tab later next year. I really like blinkfeed sucks not having it on an HTC device. Maybe Motos or Nokia's, or a Sony even, so many well built tablets....

IMO even 10" is too small I prefer 12-13" tablets IMO the 3:2 is the best screen ratio for tablets 4:3 is too narrow in landscape 16:10 & 16:9 are too narrow in portrait

Yeah, I'm waiting on the HTC tablet as well. It is rumored to be 12', so I hope that is true, because that is perfect size for me.

I can't stand that all tablet cases are folios. I don't want a folio for my phone because I don't need an annoying flap getting in the way. I can't even find a decent case that isn't a folio these days. I just want a tablet version of something like the iPhone 5s leather case but no one makes one for any tablet.
