OS 5.0 now live for the Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Tour 9630

Certainly on time as promised by Big Red, the highly anticipated OS version 5.0.0.591 for the BlackBerry Tour 9630 is finally here without a hitch. There were no unexplained delays or surprise happenings shortly before it was made available today to Tour owners who've been waiting patiently for their crack as the latest version of the platform. This update actually includes the feature to allow Tour owners to utilize push-to-talk on the handset and offers some improvements that make the over the air download a joy to execute. The biggest winner here has to be the spot on timing of its release – which fortunately did not meet the same fate as some other handsets we've seen of late.
