Nokia provides handset integration product for the new Volkswagen Passat
Nokia announced that the new Volkswagen Passat will be equipped with PREMIUM handset integration product Nokia's latest in-car communication solution. The PREMIUM handset integration product allows users to perform basic function such as voice dial, redial, take and end calls as well as mute the radio and download phonebook entries via Bluetooth wireless technology. Users will also be offered a mobile phone holder as an option, if they wish to charge their phones in the car. The handset integration product, which is compatible with an array of mobile phones from various manufacturers, is expected to be available in the new Volkswagen Passat in the summer of 2005.
