Nokia N80 shown with Cingular branding

Nokia N80 is one of the three additions to the N-series announced few days back. The phone is the first quad-band GSM phone, which supports both 1900 (US) and 2100 (Europe) 3G UMTS frequencies and the first phone to feature the (Universal Plug and Play) technology.

Only two days after the official announcement of the device, images showing the N80 branded by Cingular started to appear. They are not of the best visual quality but the Cingular logo is clearly visible, meaning that the US #1 carrier will  probably carry the N80, when it officially hits the market in Q1 2006.

As the Nokia N80 feature both 1900MHz (US) and 2100MHz (US) UMTS frequencies, it will take advantage of the Cingular UMTS (1900) network
