Nokia Lumia 929 for Verizon leaks out in more pictures, aluminum global version tipped
Verizon's upcoming Lumia 929 will sport a special aura around it, as it will be the first fairly compact 1080p Windows Phone. If you have been green with envy that Verizon will get exclusive on the 5" puppy with Full HD screen, Snapdragon 800 and 20 MP PureView camera, color your face something else.
Insiders are claiming for Nokia Power User that there will be a global version of a 5" Lumia with 1080p display, quad-core Snapdragon 800, and the venerable 20 MP cam, which will sports an aluminum frame, similar to the Lumia 925. Now the only thing of concern is whether the record four HAAC microphones will make it into the smaller body, or we'll have to make do with three or four.
Granted, even if we had four, stereo recording quality likely won't be from the rank of the one we'll have in the Lumia 1520, where the mics can be set much further apart, but we are still hoping to get four. In the meantime, marvel at some additional leaked imagery of the Lumia 929 heading to Verizon, and imaging that chassis clad in aluminum in the meantime. Oh, and if you want to see a brief hands-on of the device, head over to the Youku source link, nobody is pulling down videos there apparently.
