Even though a prototype was not present, Joseph Hanlon from CNET Australia, has had the pleasure of taking a look at some pictures of the Nokia E71 at the 2008 Nokia Showcase. The successor of the
Nokia E61i has similar design with its full QWERTY and landscape display, very similar to a BlackBerry. The specs supplied by the site, though not officially confirmed are as follows: HSDPA (3.6Mbps) support, WiFi, Bluetooth, built-in GPS and a 3.2-megapixel camera. As the other recent Nokia smartphones, we may expect Symbian S60 with Feature Pack 2. The E71 is expected to be only 10 mm thick and 57 wide. We will keep you updated on any further developments.
