Nexus One owners can now manually upgrade to Android 2.2 Froyo

Although some Nexus One owners were greeted today with a notification for the Android 2.2 Froyo update, some owners out there are still sitting idle for the moment to come for them. If you can't stand having to wait for it, you can jump up to the latest version of the platform thanks to the diligent work accomplished by the team over at xda-developers. Their hard work paid off as they were able to uncover and find the update on a Google server and come up with some instructions on how to manually update the handset. Naturally there is some work involved in the process, but in the end, you'll be greeted to one spiffy running Android interface that's sure to impress you. For those who want to take the plunge, you can download the file from xda-developers and follow the instructions to experience all the talk surrounding Froyo.
