All new Netflix and HBO October 2019 shows and 'El Camino' release date

With the announcement of HBO Max and Disney+, new and formidable "old-media" competitor to the existing Netflix darling and the upcoming Apple TV+ player, your monthly bill for video streaming services may become as long as your cable bill, somewhat defeating the purpose.

Netflix is way ahead of them all, though, with $11 billion earmarked for spending on own shows and content this year, though there is a lot of fluff in it, while Apple usually takes a more targeted approach when it comes to quality, regardless of what one might think about shows like Planet of the Apps.

In any case, Apple will have way fewer movies and TV shows than the rest of the competition at launch, as you can see from the original programming list for HBO Max that Warner has unveiled.

Thus, Netflix and HBO are expected to remain kings of content for now, and we are listing all that is in or out on these two streaming platforms announced for October, midway through the fall season.
