NBA 2K18 companion app and theme card game is now up on App Store and Google Play

2K's MyNBA2K18 has just been released in the App Store and Google Play, but the companion app will be at its full potential on September 19 when NBA 2K18 will be launched on PC and consoles. 

However, those who pre-order the video game on either platform will receive it on September 15, four days ahead of its official release. Anyway, the good news is MyNBA2K18 is not just a companion app for the NBA 2K18, it's also a full fledged theme card game.

So, aside from the fact that it fully integrates with NBA 2K18, the app includes the collectible NBA 2K themed card game, MyTEAM Mobile, which enables players to collect their favorite NBA player cards and legends to challenge other competitors across the world in quick games, playoff tournaments, as well as in-game special events.

The new app features more than 300 new cards for the NBA's 2017-2018 season. It also comes with daily objectives that offer in-game rewards each time they are completed, and team login incentives that award players team packs if they log in daily.

MyNBA2K18 is available for free via App Store and Google Play, but it does feature in-app purchases. Players can also use the mobile app to shop for console items while on the move from expanded MyPLAYER Store.
