Mystery Samsung device pictured, shows new design

Last week, we told you that there was speculation that Samsung had enough. They were tired of everyone putting down the plastic build of their flagship devices and even though they felt that its handsets were heads and tails above the competition when it came to software, when it came to build quality, uh, not so much. So the rumors started that for the Samsung GALAXY Note III, the Korean manufacturer was going to use (get ready for it) a unibody metal design.

So that brings into play a series of pictures taken by serial leaker evleaks. Could this be the Samsung GALAXY Note III? You might notice on one of the pictures, what appears to be a slot for the S Pen. Of course, this could turn out to be a non-Galaxy model, or just the result of some messing around in the lab.

It does appear that Samsung wants to make a change to the plastic build that has been associated with it. Whether or not the pictures show what is coming from Samsung is another matter.
