Motorola showcases new devices for the emerging markets

W220 is basic clamshell GSM phone with internal antenna. It has external display and internal STN color one and built-in FM radio. It is designed as an ultra-cheap version of the RAZR phones for the emerging markets.

W375 adds some features to the W220 – it has similar design and external display but the internal one is TFT unit and the phone has built-in camera (VGA). Except FM radio, it also features speakerphone, multimedia messaging and advanced organizer including currency converter and a stopwatch. It will also be available in various housing colors.

W210 and W170 are candybar slim phones operating in CDMA networks. They both have capacity for 500 contacts and support iTap and BREW and are targeted for developing markets in Asia and Africa.

W208 is similar to the W220 but is built in candybar design. Its display is TFT unit with resolution of 128x128 pixels instead of STN used in the W220. A nice feature is the built-in FM radio and the nice organizer.
