Motorola releases two apps to control Moto Mods on your Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid
Motorola launched a couple of apps on the Google Play Store today aimed at users of the Motorola Moto Z Droid and Motorola Moto Z Force Droid. Both new Droid models are Verizon exclusives in the U.S. and were launched today. The two apps help those sporting either model control the Moto Mods modular accessories that magnetically attach to the back of both handsets.

The Moto Mods Manager allows you to update the Mods just in case Motorola needs to send a fix or add new features to one of the accessories. The Moto Mods Projector app works with just the Insta-Share Projector. This app allows users to control the brightness of the image coming from the projector, and includes other settings as well.

The Moto Mods available from Verizon include:
  • Motorola Insta-Share Projector ($299.99)
  • JBL SoundBoost ($79.99)
  • Kate Spade New York StylePack ($59.99)
  • TUMI New York Style Shell ($59.99)
  • Kate Spade New YorkWireless Charging Battery Pack ($89.99)
  • Kate Spade New YorkPower Pack ($79.99)
  • TUMI Wireless Charging Battery Pack ($89.99)
  • TUMI Power Pack ($79.99)

Verizon currently has a deal going on the Moto Mods. Buy one and take 20% off any additional Mods you purchase. If you do happen to buy one or more, make sure you install the app(s).
