Motorola XT502 Greco bound for China with with Android 2.1 on board?
If there is one specific market that most mobile manufacturers should focus on, it should happen to be China where it is visibly a market that can lay claim to some profitable fortunes due to the sheer amount of available target customers. It's no surprise that another handset out of Motorola's camp is in bound for the country as the Motorola XT502 Greco was recently spotted over at the Bluetooth SIG – its model number, similar to the previous Motorola XT701 and XT800, were made available to the Asian markets. So far it looks like it features a quad-band GSM connectivity, tri-band UMTS, Wi-Fi, aGPS, Bluetooth 2.0, camera with flash, and a 3.5mm headset jack. From a quick glance on the photo provided by the Bluetooth SIG suggests that it is running Android 2.1 as opposed to the recently mentioned Android 2.2 Froyo. We can't keep the Motorola XT502 Greco out of the question of landing elsewhere around the world seeing that it has support for US and European 3G bands.
