Nobody knew about the Motorola One Macro four weeks ago yet now it just can’t stop leaking. One day after an official press render of the blue model appeared alongside a potential announcement date and some key specs, trusted source Evan Blass has published another press image of the phone.

Set to be marketed as the ‘Cosmo’ Motorola One Macro, this particular variant is wearing a gradient-like purple finish on the rear complete with matching volume and power keys. This is paired with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded within the brand’s logo and an elongated vertical camera setup.

As corroborated by the ‘Macro’ and ‘Laser AF’ branding that sits alongside the camera module, the Motorola One Macro features a 2-megapixel depth sensor and laser autofocus system. These accompany an LED flash, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 13-megapixel primary camera.

The size of the smartphone’s display is yet to be revealed but it does sport a 19:9 aspect ratio and a HD+ resolution. This is all paired with pretty slim side bezels, a waterdrop-like notch above, and an oversized chin below.

Powering the device looks set to be MediaTek’s Helio P60 – a competitor to the Snapdragon 660 – coupled with a 2/32GB base configuration. Other models are likely in the works but information is scarce at this stage. Software-wise, Motorola’s flavor of Android 9 Pie is to be expected.

The Motorola One Macro will reportedly be announced next week. The exact date of the introduction hasn’t yet been confirmed but Thursday, October 9 seems plausible.
