Microsoft Lumia 435 launches in Ireland

The Microsoft Lumia 435 has launched in Ireland, priced at the equivalent of $84 USD, from Tesco Mobile Ireland. The phone comes with Windows Phone 8.1 and the Lumia Denim firmware update already pre-installed. And in case you were wondering, yes this model is also expected to be updated to Windows 10 for Mobile.

The device comes with a 4-inch screen carrying a resolution of 480 x 800. Driving the handset is a dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 CPU. Crunching graphics is the Adreno 302 GPU. 1GB of RAM is inside along with 8GB of native storage. If additional memory is required, as seems likely, there is a 128GB capacity microSD slot available. On back of the unit you will find a 2MP camera with a .3MP snapper adorning the front of the phone. A 1560mAh battery keeps the lights on.

Psst. If you looking to buy the Lumia 435, here is a little tip. You can get the same exact phone from Carphone Warehouse for the equivalent of $37 USD. By the way, as we told you back in January, the phone is coming to the U.S. although when that is happening is not yet known.
