Microsoft Launcher receives major update, adds Home App Grid, new user experience, more

On its way to the 50 million downloads achievement, Microsoft Launcher scores yet another update that brings some important improvements and new features.

If you've been using Microsoft Launcher, then you'll notice the new version comes with a Home App Grid, which allows you to create a grid with up to 12 columns and 12 rows. Also, you'll be to move apps and widgets to half of the grid cells.

Furthermore, the update adds a new user experience, so you'll notice that on the welcome page you'll be able to import the layout from another launcher, or even restore a Microsoft Launcher backup.

The fonts used for apps and folder names have been redesigned, while the shape and look of folders on Home has been changed. Also, the dock should now support more than 5 apps and a search bar can be placed down to default.

When it comes to settings enhancements, Microsoft made it so the chose them can also be applied to settings, redesigning the menu. Finally, the apps drag & drop function should no longer open modification mode.

I like it a lot too, I have it installed but using nova at the moment, I'm waiting to see if they add the option to align the app drawer icons to the homepage and create folders in the app drawer. Other than that I really like especially the widgets with contacts on the feed

The fastest, slickest and the most productive launcher in the WORLD!!! Its widget card resembles iOS, but that's a good thing! Plus I love the way one can add notes, reminders and checklist on the go, back them up on the cloud or phone's native storage without opening any app! I write TONS of notes because I've a poor memory so this is EXTREMELY convenient for me!

Speaking of Notes, I have tons on my iPhone (using its Notes app). and I want to switch to Android. What's the best way to port them over?
