55-year old Orlando Chang figured he had a fairly quiet day ahead. He planned on visiting a nearby MetroPCS store to trade in his current smartphone for a new model. Little did he know that by the end of the day, he would find himself arrested on 11 counts of possession of child pornography. The arrest warrant explained how Chang popped into a MetroPCS store in Coral Gables, seeking to swap his old handset for a new one.

The MetroPCS employee who was assigned the task of moving over the contacts and photos from Chang's old handset to his new one made a rather startling discovery. When going through the content of Chang's old phone, he saw what appeared to be pornographic images of unknown young girls, 7 to 9 years of age, in various sexual positions. The police were called in and when they arrived, the MetroPCS employee showed them the photos.

The cops then confronted Chang who admitted that he knew that the pictures were there, but claimed that they were sent to him by the girl's mother. As it turned out, besides the 11 counts of possessing child pornography that he was charged with, the suspect had an outstanding warrant from 2007 for driving with a suspended license. He is currently being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. Bond was set at $77,000.
