Marvel Strike Force is a new mobile RPG launching in 2018, pre-registrations now open

Remember Marvel: Contest of Champions, the game developed by a studio called Kabam? In the meantime, Kabam was bought by Netmarble, although many members of the team departed to form a new studio called FoxNext Games.

Well, the folks over at FoxNext Games are now working on a new game in the Marvel universe, which will be released on Android and iOS sometime in 2018. The game is called Marvel Strike Force and it's a mobile RPG where players will get to play iconic superheroes in the Marvel universe, including Iron Man, Captain America, Daredevil and Doctor Strange.

Moreover, developers promise “stunning visuals,” as Marvel superheroes and supervillains will look as close to life-like as possible on the phone.

We expect the game to be free to download, but with some in-app purchases in tow. Also, for those who can't wait to get their hands on Marvel Strike Force, pre-registrations are now open on the game's official website.

If you agree to receive emails regarding the game, you'll receive 500 power cores, 50,000 gold, as well as a 3-star Daredevil, when Marvel Strike Force gets released in the App Store and Google Play.

Am I the only one that loves to buy the hell out of good $10 games (FF for example) and in doing so, spend $10 more than I ever would on MTX?

Judging by how profitable "free" games with micros are, yes, you are the only one.

Just a correction: no game developer from the Kabam Vancouver team (creators of Contest of Champions) has left the company to join Fox games. The team developing Strike Force is from the LA and SF offices, which were sold by Netmarble when they bought Kabam.
