MINIKIT - a new Bluetooth hands-free speakerphone by Parrot

Parrot is about to introduce a new Bluetooth accessory - the MINIKIT hands-free speakerphone to use in your car, at home or the office. It has a simple design with only three buttons, built-in multi-directional microphone and no add-on parts. The MINIKIT features a 64MHz processor and utilizes DSP-2 technology for noise cancellation, and it also uses its own voice recognition - not the phone's one. The Bluetooth version is 1.2 with the Headset, Handsfree and Object Push profiles included, and there's support for pairing of up to five phones. Updating the software can also be done through Bluetooth. The Parrot MINIKIT measures 4.3 x 2.5 x 1.2 inches (110 x 63 x 28 mm) and weighs 104 grams (3.5 oz), with claimed battery life of up to 10 hours of talk time and about a week on standby mode.

The Parrot MINIKIT is expected to be available in retail stores in two weeks time at a price of about $115.
