It is called Vivino, and as you can probably tell, it is dedicated to the popular beverage. In essence, this handy little piece of software is like your own catalog for wines – you add and rate the ones that you've tried for future reference. But there's a lot more that the app can do.

With Vivino you can scan the labels of bottles of wine and the app will display detailed information about it within seconds, pulled straight from its database of over 2 million wines. Furhermore, it will present you with an average rating for that particular wine based on scores given by other Vivino users. Once you've used the app for a while, it will be able to come up with recommendations based on wines that you've had previously. You may also follow the many featured users of the app and get regular reviews on all kinds of wines.
