Look out! Samsung recalls the SGH-C450
In the Netherlands, Samsung has recalled the SGH-C450 because under “exceptional circumstances may not meet the state's standard for radio waves for mobile communication." Devices distributed by ING / Postbank and De Telegraaf in cooperation with Telfort that were made after September 1st 2008 need swapping out. Some may be pleased to know that they will receive a Samsung M150 in place of their device. Owners that have registered their device with Samsung should be getting something in the mail. However, if you have not registered the device, you should get in touch with Samsung immediately to see if your device qualifies. We’re sure that the device does not pose any immediate health risk, but let’s be on the safe side. It’s not like the phone is emitting intense radio waves or leaking radiation, but either way check out Samsung’s web site and enter in your IMEI.
