These live shots reveal a Cingular branded Samsung i607 “Blackjack” smartphone, which is
expected to be launched by the major US carrier pretty soon. As it can be seen from the pictures, contrary to initial information, the front facing camera is missing, which is a pity having in mind the quad-band GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA capabilities of the device. Also it is a WindowsMobile based smartphone with Bluetooth support, microSD cards slot and a scroll wheel on the right side for easy navigation. Cingular is expected to launch the Samsung i607 by the end of the third quarter which is almost over, so here's hoping that device may hit the stores by the end of next week.
