LG collaborates with the Keith Haring Foundation "to create iconic back covers for the Optimus Black"
LG has announced its collaboration with the Keith Haring Foundation, which is to say we will see artwork from the legendary pop artist featured on the LG Optimus Black.

This is not the first time Keith Haring is working with LG - they previously collaborated on the LG KF600 and LG KF700 phones. The Korean manufacturer says it is making this move "with the goal of bringing more art into people’s lives."

This version of the LG Optimus Black will be demonstrated during MWC, and the pic below surely gives you a good idea what to expect.

Sadly, the release date of this handset is not mentioned, but it's rumoured that the LG Optimus Black will be launched sometime in the first half of 2011.
