LG G3 mini may have a 4.5-inch display

While LG still hasn’t confirmed the existence of a G3 mini, we heard that the handset should have multiple variants, including a D725 that’s supposed to be released in the US via AT&T. Now we have details on another possible LG G3 mini version, namely the LG D722.

The D722 is mentioned in the database of Zauba (an Indian import-export tracker), and it looks like the handset sports a 4.5-inch display - so it should be a bit smaller than last year’s 4.7-inch LG G2 mini. As previously reported, the screen of the G3 mini should be a 720p one. According to Zauba, the upcoming smartphone features a 5MP rear camera, 8GB of internal memory, a 2,100 mAh battery, and a 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor (most likely a Snapdragon 400). Android 4.4 KitKat and LTE connectivity are also expected to be among the device’s features.

The old G2 mini is a shrunken copy of the larger LG G2, so maybe the G3 mini will also be an almost exact replica of its larger brother (the 5.5-inch G3). There's no word on when LG will announce the G3 mini, but it could happen pretty soon.
