LG Chocolate phone comes to the US market

LG Electronics has unveiled its plans to launch the slim KG800 Chocolate mobile phone in the United States. It is a part of the company's new policy to bring more quickly advanced Korean devices to US customers. The slide-designed handset was launched in Korea last November and became very popular, selling about 300 000 units. Earlier this week LG announced that a GSM version of the device will be released on the European market. LG didn't reveal which US carrier will offer the Chocolate phone, but having in mind that it is available both in GSM and CDMA version, it could be any of the carriers LG usually sells phones through. There's no information if the American version of the handset will differ in color or design. It's not clear when exactly the Chocolate phone will be available, although it's known that it will be some time this year.
