It is alive! Chinese iPhone 8 clone pops up on short video

Ah, the world of counterfeit phones — ain't it grand? For the past few years, we've seen knockoffs of various hot and heavily-anticipated phones pop up here and there. The amusing thing is that some clones get “released” before the device they are copying is ever even announced. Of course, the iPhone 8 being... well — the iPhone 8 — knockoffs are guaranteed. And lo and behold, one has already been caught in the wild.

What follows below is an 8-second video, which shows us an iPhone clone running on Android (presumably). It looks quite close to what we expect the iPhone 8's final design to be, including a virtual home button on the front and vertical camera module on the back. The faux iOS 11 skin on it also looks quite spot-on.

Needless to say, be careful with any bargain-priced iPhone 8 devices in the months after the official announcement. Yeah, demand and supply might be out of balance and wait times might be as outrageous as the original device's price. But it's still not worth risking a shady deal.

That means, this is how the iPhone 8 will look. The clones always look like the actual model.

They're not entirely accurate though in terms of phone dimensions. Apple could've made a better design IMO.

Yeah, lol, this screen to body ratio is better than any iPhone to date.

Clearly an Android clone....LOLZZZ Can tell by the looks of inferior build quality and UI lag.
