International HTC One X receives a new OTA update that brings along some minor fixes
If you’ve been holding onto the international version of the HTC One X, you know, the one sporting that quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor as opposed to the dual-core Snapdragon S4 found with AT&T’s version, you probably noticed something popping up on the handset of late.
Now don’t disregard that notification, mainly because it’s for a new over-the-air update for the smartphone, which brings forth some minor big fixes. In fact, the new 14MB software update brings the highly prized smartphone to version 1.29.401.11. Indeed, it’s a tad bit smaller in size versus some other previous over-the-air updates for the handset, but nonetheless, it packs some things that will lessen some of the headaches experienced by owners.
Specifically, reports from users say that the update corrects the issue surrounding screen flickering with the HTC One X, and issues pertaining to USB storage. However, the Wi-Fi bug that we reported about previously seems to be persistent even with the installation of this update. Still, we’d imagine it to be only a matter of time before we see another update that corrects the nagging issue. Therefore, if you haven’t done so already, you’d probably want to install this new one ASAP to keep the phone up to snuff with things.
