Instagram has been available for Android flavored smartphones for only two months. Now, some of the newly released Android handsets seem to
have a problem with Instagram crashing. The popular photo filter and sharing app has had trouble standing on its own two feet for users of the Samsung Galaxy S III, the HTC One X and its cousin the HTC EVO 4G LTE. Facebook has spent too much money to allow the app to fail on three popular new devices, so Instagram has quickly issued an update already available on Google Play Store.
We'd love to tell you all about the long changelist for Instagram for Android version 1.1.2-but we can't. All that the Google Play Store has as new is "
Fix for user images that were causing app to crash". Of course, even if you don't have any of the new models listed above, you will
still be prompted to install the update. If you do own any of the hot new models and you have been having problems with Instagram, let us know if the update has solved your problem by simply leaving a comment in the box below.
