Needless to say that BlackBerry owners who paid handsomely for Shape Service's IM+ app managed to experience all the new offerings the latest version of the app offered, but now its free version is also making the same switch. Although you'll have to deal with some ads popping up all around for IM+ Lite for BlackBerry, it boasts the same new completely redesigned interface found on the paid version. Additionally, users will now have the ability to view all your past conversations, support for MSN & Skype group chat, Twitter integration, inbox integration for devices running OS 4.6 & higher, and a multilingual user interface in English, German, French, and Spanish. Not only will you have to deal with ads, but IM+ Lite doesn't support IMPush/Stay online and Speech Recognition functionality – but then again, it's a free app versus the $39.95 price tag for the paid one!
