Huawei announces two new colors for the P9 - Blue and Red

After unveiling the pretty new Nova smartphones for the ladies at IFA, Huawei also took to Weibo to show off its flagship phone, the Huawei P9, in two new colors - Blue and Red.

You might remember that the Huawei P9 launched back in April this year. Initially, it was available in White, Haze Gold, Rose Gold, Grey, Silver, and Prestige Gold. The new color models feature 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM memory and are sold for around $50 more than what the P9 usually costs.

As a refresher, the Huawei P9 is a 5.2-inch smartphone with a 1080p resolution screen that's powered by a Kirin 955 octa-core chipset with a Mali T880 GPU. There are two versions of the handset, with one packing 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM, and the other 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. The new colors should help freshen the P9 line-up.
