Here is the first official OnePlus 6 teaser
The next major announcement in the smartphone industry may belong to OnePlus, as the company's next flagship is expected to be unveiled as early as next month. Even though the OnePlus 6 isn't official yet, it's already one of the most controversial devices soon to make its debut on the market due to the addition of the (in)famous notch.

Notch or no notch, the OnePlus 6 shapes up to be a great flagship killer, not just specs-wise, but also when it comes to price. If the cheapest version of the phone will be available for purchase for $525, I would still call it a great achievement for OnePlus.

In any case, to raise the hype around its next top-tier product, OnePlus has just released the first OnePlus 6 teaser, asking fans to “6et ready!”

The main question is whether or not OnePlus fans are ready to embrace the notch since the OnePlus 6 will surely include one, as the company's co-founder Carl Pei suggests.

Do not forget the super low quality vibration motors they use in their phones. I would gladly pay a dollar more for a phone with better vibrations like Apple, which is about what it costs to add it.

If iPhones costs only "a" dollar more for everything that's better, I would actually be using an Apple device. Sadly, they don't do things any better, and they don't charge just "a" dollar.

Well, that's what a better vibration motor costs. No, I don't want to use an iPhone, but I do want a phone which does haptics even remotely as good. If that's not possible, I would take LG's haptics. If even that's not possible, Samsung's or HTC's will do, since they use linear motors. Oneplus's ones are an abomination to vibration motors. I have missed some very important calls since my phone was in my pocket and I wasn't able to feel it vibrating. I won't buy a Oneplus for this reason: yes it's THAT bad.

For me the device is too big and the notch doesn't comfort me much. I will wait to 6T hopefully they will create smaller phone by then

how about no notch all... android OEMs are a bunch of shameless copycats. first they removed the 3,5mm jack FOR NO REASON and now this,.... this notch trend...sad af. (at least the latest oneplus iteration has the 3.5mm)

if anyone knows how to do a notch is apple chin if anyone thinks of notching it up atleast no chin..if the reason to have more screen was for a notch than why even have a chin makes no sense..

Very narrow 18:9 and 19:9 formats make 6 incher screens tiny. Overall screen real estate is barely that of a 16:9 5.5 incher... probably even less. I cannot believe people still whine about phones being too big. Actual phone screen sizes have dramatically decreased with the advent of the 18:9 form factor.

Use a standard 6 inch phone and then pick up a so called 6 inch 18:9 modern form factor phone. You will be surprised how much more cramped it is.

Hope the cameras are better than the 5T. Lack of water resistance or wireless charging I can get around, but camera quality is very important.
