Hands-on with Sony Ericsson W980 and G502
Today, we are happy to present two of Sony Ericsson’s anticipated models – the music dedicated W980 and the internet oriented G502.

W980 is a representative of the top shelf music line of the manufacturer. Coming in the clamshell form factor, this device has managed to fit a notable amount of functions “under the hood” and like the W960, it is equipped with 8 GB of built-in memory. The newcomer is the first model of the manufacturer with an integrated FM transmitter, allowing you to listen to the music broadcasted from the phone on a nearby stereo system (with radio). Don’t think that you will not be able to use it when it’s closed, because on the front panel, there are touch sensitive buttons and a color display, which visualizes the music menu when one of the side buttons is pressed.

The other device fits in the lowermid class and since it is also a representative of the G-series, itfollows the ideas portrayed in G700 and G900. These are phones, intended for the mass consumer, but with functions necessary to surfthe Internet. That’s why, G502 is equipped with a full web browser (thepleasant surprise seen in K660) and HSDPA 3.6 Mbit/s support. All that,in a cute designed phone at an affordable price.
