HTC shows off a One (M8) Champions League Collector's Edition, buying it isn't an option
HTC today revealed a new limited edition of its One (M8) flagship smartphone. Apparently called HTC One (M8) Champions League Collector's Edition, the handset is here to celebrate the start of Champions League’s group stage - which kicked off today.

The limited edition smartphone comes with the UEFA Champions League logo engraved on its back, plus an engraving of the iconic Champions League trophy. It looks like this is where the differences between the new handset and the regular One (M8) end. Thus, the Champions League edition model comes with Android KitKat and Sense 6, a 5-inch 1080p display, HTC’s well-known BoomSound speakers, and that not-so-appreciated Duo rear camera.

According to Pocket-lint, the HTC One (M8) Champions League Collector's Edition won’t be available to buy. Instead, HTC will reportedly give it away following a competition organized via its social media channels - though it’s not clear exactly when this will happen.

Since we’re talking about the UEFA Champions League, do you have a favorite team that you want to win the trophy this season?
