HTC One update for Verizon adds ISIS support
The HTC One for Verizon has received a small 34MB update that offers an equally small changelist. It seems that the update is bringing support for the ISIS mobile payment system. Last week, we told you that 200,000 stores from coast to coast now allow you to tap your ISIS enabled handset to the POS terminal (that's point of sale) to get rung up. The update also allows the HTC One to support internet browsing for the visually impaired.

Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile customers are eligible to become ISIS members. Verizon is giving new ISIS account holders a $10 credit for merely installing the ISIS app on their phone, with another $10 coming their way after the first transaction using ISIS is rung up.

Of course, without having an ISIS enabled handset, tapping your phone onto the ISIS terminal looks foolish. So make sure that your HTC One is armed with ISIS support and is ready to go before heading out for the night. By the way, for those who keep track, the update takes you to software version 1.10.605.10 and will arrive to your phone via an OTA update.
