HTC One unlocked and dev edition now getting Android 4.4 and Sense 5.5

HTC One unlocked and dev edition now getting Android 4.4 and Sense 5.5
HTC promised that the Android 4.4 update would begin rolling out to the HTC One at the end of January, but if you have an unlocked version or the developer edition of the device, you're in luck. HTC has tweeted out that the unlocked and developer editions of the One are starting to get the Android 4.4 KitKat and Sense 5.5 update today.

We've already seen Sense 5.5 on the HTC One max, so we know that it has new BlinkFeed options including the important option to turn off BlickFeed if you want to. There are also a number of camera improvements, and of course there are the KitKat features that have been included as well. You obviously won't be getting the Google Experience launcher or some of the general UI tweaks, but we'd expect to see the new KitKat Dialer, and other under-the-hood improvements.

The rollout of the update is beginning today, so if you don't get it right away, just be patient and it'll arrive eventually.
