HTC One M8 Ace "Vogue Edition" tipped for June 3rd release in China

HTC One M8 Ace
From China, more information has leaked about the HTC One M8 Ace. This particular model is being called the "Vogue Edition" in the country, which matches some teasers that HTC released for the phone, showing women dressed up fashionably. Because the teasers hinted that fashion should not be equated with luxury, the device will apparently be marketed as a low priced version of the flagship HTC One (M8).

We already have seen that the "Ace" will be wearing a plastic casing, and the specs include a 5 inch Super LCD 3 screen offering 1080 x 1920 resolution. Under the hood is a quad-core Snapdragon 801 CPU with 2GB of RAM inside. The model will be available with 16GB or 32GB of native storage and a 128GB capacity microSD slot can be used by those needing more memory. Powered by a 2600mAh battery, the HTC One M8 Ace is equipped with the front-facing BoomSound speakers, and both Android 4.4 and Sense 6.0. are pre-installed.

Besides the use of plastic for the HTC One M8 Ace, the Duo Camera setup on the back of HTC One (M8) is replaced with a single 13MP camera on the back of the phone. You won't find an ultrapixel sensor on this handset.

The HTC One M8 Ace "Vogue Edition" is expected to be released in China on June 3rd, priced at 3000 RMB ($481 USD). The phone will be offered in white, black, blue, and red.

The curves ruins the design and looks of the phone When left on table and trying to dial anumber or texting it wobbles and becomes unstable and Maneuvering awakrdly

True, it'd be squirrelly in them scenarios, In usage while holding it, I don't see it as much a problem as bonus. YMMV of course.

but most of the time, you'll dial # or text with the phone on your hand. am not afan of flat back just like the huge-bezelled z2. the curved back is OK with me!

Curves are to be desired, HTC phones of old with camera bumps/bulges where not so much.

You can make curves without it rocking like a rocking chair. That is something suck TC fails to understand.

Wow so different to that previous leak that had the whole top and bottom as a speaker grill.

I'm guessing they replaced the butterfly with this m8 ace instead. The back and the curves resemble the butterfly a lot. I just wish they kept the old front design rather than making it similar with the rest of the htc phones
