Google Assistant gets new features on Wear OS, including Actions support
Google has just announced a new set of features are making it to its Assistant on Wear OS. The announcement is a bit of a surprise, as the company is readying for Google I/O, its biggest event of the year.

The new features announced today are meant to make Google Assistant more convenient to use. Smart suggestions are now available for Google Assistant users, who will now be able to choose from contextually relevant follow up questions or replies to continue a conversation.

Another important new feature is the option to hear answers to your questions rather than read them on the smartwatch. Whenever you ask Google Assistant to “tell me about my day” while you're listening to music, you should hear useful info such as commute times and upcoming agenda, from your smartwatch speaker or Bluetooth headphones.

But the highlight of the update is definitely Actions. The new feature is now available to all Wear OS by Google smartwatches. With Actions, you can use your voice to control your smart connected devices or ask Bay Trains when the next train is leaving.

According to Google, the new features announced today will be rolled out to all Wear OS smartwatches over the next several days, so pay attention to any updates you might get on your wearable device.
