Garmin Nuvifone navigating its way to TELUS in June?
There is a small whisper in the air floating around today hinting to the notion that a Garmin-Asus Nuvifone handset is going to navigate its way to our Canadian friends on TELUS some time during the first week of June. Naturally this would come to be a surprise seeing that it'll be the first navigational oriented device from Garmin to be released in Canada, but it's not made known which device exactly will be heading their way. There's obviously the Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 from AT&T that was released back in the fall and the upcoming Garmin-Asus Garminfone heading to T-Mobile – but if TELUS surely wants to get people excited, then we'd hope that they choose something like the latter of the two. Based on MobileSyrup's tipster, this Garmin Nuvifone features a 3.5” touchscreen, Garmin's GPS turn-by-turn navigation, smartphone capabilities, 3-megapixel auto-focus camera, Wi-Fi, 2.5mm headset jack, and microSD card support. We'll have to sit back and wait until something officially comes to light before jumping for joy.
