Gameloft teases new upcoming cars for Asphalt 8: Airborne

Asphalt 8: Airborne is one of our favorite racing games for mobile - it’s not very realistic, but it makes up for that with a very dynamic gameplay, jaw-dropping graphics, and excellent controls. And now, the latest update brings even more cars and refinements to the game. Asphalt 8 is all about the action from the very start: drift, jump off platforms, hit other cars, you’ll quickly forget your thoughts of safe driving - all to get you more precious nitro, pushing the pedal down to the floor again and again after every other drift.

With the new car that experience is even more impressive. Among the cars that you can now win in time-limited cups are the following:

  • Chrysler ME 412
  • Ferrari FF
  • Ford 2006 GT
  • Mercedes CLK-GTR
  • Mercedes SLS-AMG
  • Ford Mustang 2015
This latest update to Asphalt has already rolled out to iPhone and iPad users, but it’s not available on Android and Windows Phone just yet - be patiend, Gameloft promises to bring the update in the very near future. You can download the game for free by following the links below.

I don't recall you mentioning The road to Le Mans update for Real Racing 3.. It was pretty epic. It gave players the fastest car in the game for free.

The game's main flaw (and everything Gameloft, including Glu) is that it forces you to buy IAP to really progress, otherwise you'll have to repeat old races you've won already a hundred times to buy a new car to beat the next race and realize that your newly bought car will be the sh*ttiest in the next race after that. You will realize this once you've done almost 1/8 of the game, where the enemy cars you've left behind a mile far from you and is nowhere in your minimap while you're on the first spot suddenly pops out of nowhere when those multiple paths converge and you are now 100 light-years behind them.

couldnt agree more, I hate Asphalt 8, the older ones were better where you just pay $6.99 and have all the cars

Well, that may be so. But i'll have you know that I did not use any IAP and with a lot of effort for 3 months, I now have 40 cars, including the koenigsegg agera r. It is the fastest car in the game before the ssc tuatara shows up. So there, you don't need the IAP to be competitive in the game.
