Hi Luis, do you guys already have a review ready?

Reviewing a non-consumer ready version of a device is kinda pointless for consumers, IMO. Why not just wait for the consumer version to ship as from April 18 before doing a proper review? It'll be more credible that way.

(edited)In response to post 3 Unless there's big software changes the review of the hardware will be more then credible IMO. Most likely not much if anything will change if a journalist receives a unit 1 or 2 weeks before official release. Most people here just rip into PA's reviewers and rating system anyway. My initial question was out of curiosity, nothing more. I am looking forward to the review though.

This is completely incorrect. Most if not all devices have day one patches to fix performance, battery, updated apps etc...So people are correct in stating that reviewing pre-production software is not right. Not that I would base my purchase off of any PhoneArena garbage review anyway. Here's my guess: Samsung S8 9.3

If they don't, there are some good ones on YouTube. Sakitech, Erica Griffin, and Lou from Unbox Therapy give some well laid out ones.

I really like detroitborg. He has really good unboxing videos. He unboxes and reviews pretty much every Apple product, but he also does a wide variety of other products as well. He's very knowledgeable and does really good videos.

He's one of he best, and I'm subscribed to him, but didn't see one from him. Maybe he hasn't gotten his unit yet.

Yeah I'm sure he will get the S8 and S8 Plus in and do videos on them. I am just jealous of all the Apple products he gets, from the way he talks in his videos, he seems to buy them all on his own. They aren't sent to him. He does get sent some products tho from other OEMS. LG sent him a like 65 inch tv to unbox and review. Good publicity for them tho, he has a lot of subscribers and is one of the best like you said.

Bro i've had a change of heart gonna stick with my Iphone 7plus till the Note 8 or Iphone 7s or 8 or whatever they are going to call it comes out.S8 plus is just not wowing me lol i've watched plenty of reviews and I believe they did another rush job because of the Note 7. The screen ratio got me twisted, camera is great but not any wow and then I got to thinking about the updates taking so long and the lifespan of Android before it starts lagging and battery life.Let me know tho how you like it when you get it.But now i'm more interested in the Pixel xL it went head to head with it and in many cases outperformed the s8 plus.

I'll give you the blow by blow my dude, but in all fairness, my iPhone 7 Plus acts up too. Yesterday the message app froze, and stayed frozen till I closed it and reopened it, Safari froze too. I didn't trip, cause it happens. We know the iPhone will hold its value longer, and due to the OS being so basic, it'll be faster (especially at game launching), and it'll have less lag. I'm going into the S8 Plus realisticly, as in...I know it'll get some lag here and there, cause it does so much. I also know, it'll have the absolute killer feature suite, that I'm begging Apple to give the iPhone. I love my 7 Plus, but I love Galaxy's for totally different reasons. They are powerhouses, beautiful, and feature packed to the gills. That usually means slowdowns here and there, but the iPhone is just the opposite (in the features area), and still gets its own share of slowdowns. My iPhone doesn't run as smoothly as it did 2 months ago, and that could be attributed to iOS 10.3. I get crashes and freezes now, more than iOS 10.2 gave me. You know I'm gonna keep it 100, regardless of who I piss off. All and all, I'm planning to make the S8 Plus my starter, and let the 7 Plus be the closer lol (love me some baseball), but I know what to expect from it, and if it doesn't do those irritating things, then all the more better. I'm keeping my eye more on iOS 11, than the iPhone 8. It's getting to the point of what will the next iPhone do more so than how it will look...for me. I'm dead set on keeping my 7 Plus, just in case Apple skips on the (Big 4) features I want. 1. Split view 2. Slide over 3. Picture in picture and 4. Pencil support. This year, if I don't get those, I'll just put iOS 11 on my 7 Plus, and wait to see if the Note 8 is compelling enough to sell my S8 and get it. To me, it makes no sense, that the 7 Plus doesn't work with the Apple Pencil. They'd have sold a lot more Pencils if it did. I keep trying out the S8, and each time I walk away more impressed. It's just super tight to me, and I gotta have one, especially since I sold my S7 Edge. Clocks ticking bro. Sorry I Techie'd lol.

I'm really excited to get my hands on my S8+ and the VR, hopefully we won't have to wait weeks and weeks for samsung to fulfill all those promos. I've only had hands on the S8+ once for about 5 minutes but I pretty much had my mind made up about it before I even touched it. What kind of case option do you have planned for yours? I can't make up my mind.

Go on Ebay and check out the Obliq cases for it they are very nice and the VRS cases for it very stylish.

I have 3 cases. 1 exact fit clear soft touch, 1 exact fit matte black, and a blue exact fit. They're so thin, and exact, it doesn't appear to be a case on the device. I hate bulky cases. Elago makes the black and blue, and case army makes the clear. Bought on amazon.

Hey dark, whats up? As for the big features you want, just wondering but why don't you try jailbreaking? There's everything and the kitchen sink there trust me. Its not like i'm encouraging u to but for the features you say you want, the jailbreaking community has more than enough to get u addicted tbh.. For example you'll get the slide-over and split-view app by downloding a tweak by the name "gorgone", and it works exactly like the ipad in both looks and functionality. Cause i reckon that apple will never add those things to the iphone just so people will keep buying the ipad, just like they'ue refused to update their music app to landscape mode. Infact a jailbroken iphone is like android on steroids tbh.. If u can try it, u just might like it.

I should'nt have to rely on the jailbreak community for those features. On top of that, each OS update will break the jailbreak. No thanx. If Apple doesn't deliver those features this year, then I'll simply keep my 7 Plus. The 7 Plus is a very future proof device iOS wise, which is why I bought it. It's a device, that'll stay relevant in the iOS eco system for sometime to come. It'll get all non new device specific features.
