Futuristic see-through Apple Store being developed this year in France
The French love'em some Apple, as can be attested by just looking around in the metro, where every second teenager tinkers with some kind of an iDevice.

The country has its share of stores that sell those, but one in particular caught our attention. The new Apple Store in Aix en Province that is being built this year, will be all-glass from three sides, with a back wall in light-colored stone. The glass will be tailor-made by Apple's suppliers, as the building has to comply with France's new earthquake standards. The design resembles somewhat the famous all-glass cube in NYC, that just recently got refreshed.

The see-through store will be situated on an ancient cobblestone square, and be one-story, further enhancing the contrast between the old and the new. The render looks pure and simple, embodying fully Apple's design philosophy.

We are just wondering if they will be using Gorilla Glass 2 for the whole building, but the store will certainly be a looker in this touristy area above Marseilles, with up and coming commercial center. You can read more about the history of Apple's retail stores in our article here.
