Froyo update for the HTC Legend is arriving in the coming weeks
Although it was never brought over to any of the four major wireless carriers in the US, the HTC Legend is still one of those handsets that continue to radiate HTC's ability to make stunning looking smartphones. Aside from its attractive and durable exterior, it's about to get a much needed dose of freshness internally as HTC announced via its Facebook page that Froyo is arriving in the coming weeks.

Specifically, unbranded HTC Legend handsets will be the first to experience the most current version of Android. However, it may take some additional time before carrier branded handsets see the light of Android 2.2 Froyo since it must pass through their respective carrier approval processes – which always prolongs its arrival.

Nonetheless, there will surely be more life happening on HTC Legend smartphones now that we're on the heels of seeing this highly anticipated model. For those who decided to make the jump and become some of the early adopters, their diligence and commitment to sticking with the phone is paying off – big time!
