Foursquare maintenance release update for BlackBerry addresses bugs
The Foursquare app for BlackBerry recently got updated over the weekend, but apparently there are still some bugs found with it. However, users won’t have to wait long for a fix since a maintenance release is being made available today that addresses these leftover issues.

From the looks of it all, there appears to be a handful of items that were fixed with the latest version of the Foursquare app for BlackBerry. The fixes with the maintenance release include:

  • Resolution of screen lock up issue after login on some devices
  • Resolution of checkin results lock up issue on some devices
  • Resolution of "send to twitter/facebook" not showing
  • UI fix with viewing photos on a smaller device
  • Landscape/Portrait rotational fix on some touch devices
  • To update just head to foursquare.com/blackberry/alpha from your device.

So without any further interruption, user can download the maintenance release via the source link and continue to check into their favorite locations with the app – and not worrying about something going bad.
