Father's Day deal from Motorola: Moto X Pure Edition just $299.99 and up
This coming Sunday is Father's Day. And that usually means good deals on smartphones. For example, the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition is now on sale for $299.99 and up, a savings of $100. That is for the 16GB version of the phone. The 32GB model is $349.99, and the 64GB unit carries a $399.99 price tag. All of these price represents a $100 haircut from the usual cost of the device.

The Motorola Moto X Pure Edition features a 5.7-inch LCD screen carrying a 1440 x 2560 resolution. That works out to a pixel density of 520ppi. The Snapdragon 808 SoC is under the hood containing a hexa-core 1.8 CPU, and the Adreno 418 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with a 3000mAh battery. A 21MP camera graces the rear of the phone, and a 5MP front-facing camera snaps selfies and handles video chats. Android 5.1 is pre-installed. The device has been nano-coated to protect it from spills and light rain.

Just imagine how excited your Dad will be when you tell him that you've customized a brand new Moto X Pure Edition that he will be able to call his own. Heck, he might even put you back in the will!

Moto X Style has QHD display and stereo front facing speakers. I don't care about faster processor, I don't use my phone for gaming.

this is very expensive...for 350-400 you can get a phone with SD 820 also chinese, but nonetheless. Moto's times are way over. Sad cuz i really liked the brand and let's not forget the first pager, beeper, etc were motorola and they were damn good.
