Facebook intros subscription groups to make users pay for their favorite content
Facebook has just announced a new tool for group admins, which will allow them to charge money from the members of their communities. A new set of tools will be available for a small number of groups admins, which should help them earn money for investing time and energy in their groups.

Apparently, the new feature has been added at the request of many group admins who were looking for ways to earn money to help them further enhance engagement with members of their groups. Group members can now sign-up and manage their subscription through the Facebook application for iOS and Android.

The new subscription group pilot is being tested with a small number of groups with different interests, such as meal planning and college preparation. If the pilot is successful, the feature will be further improved and expanded to additional groups.
