Facebook announces another round of News Feed tweaks, here is what's changed
Facebook is tinkering with the News Feed once again, but that should be surprising considering the feedback it receives every time it changes anything. One of the most important aspects of the social network, the News Feed is meant to connect people with the posts they find most relevant.

Even though Facebook has said numerous times in the past that it doesn't matter how long people spend on Facebook, but rather the quality of time spent. By that principle, Facebook announced a new rounds of tweaks to the News Feed feature.

After running a bunch of surveys last year to ask people what posts they thought were worth their time, Facebook has decided to update the News Feed accordingly. So, the updated News Feed should provide you with links that Facebook thinks you will find worthwhile.

Also, based on another round of surveys from last month, Facebook found the answer to an important question: what makes a link relevant for users. So, instead of just showing certain links from Pages and friends in your News Feed, a new algorithm will highlight the Page links and the posts from friends that you want to hear from most.

Apparently, these changes will be introduced gradually, but you'll probably don't notice them Facebook says. There's no deadline for when these changes must be implemented, but they're likely to be rolled out over the coming weeks.
