FLO TV and Mophie partnering together to bring mobile TV on the iPhone
We’ve heard about accessory maker Mophie coming out with a credit card reader accessory for the iPhone, but now they’re now seen partnering up with Qualcomm’s subsidiary Flo TV. The two companies announced a series of products that will allow iPhone and iPod touch users to watch live mobile TV - just like what the Motorola Krave and HTC Imagio is enabled to do through Verizon’s V-cast brand. With the combination of these two companies, they will integrate built-in FLO TV receivers into Mophie cases; so it’ll be enabled to view mobile TV. Not only will you be able to get your TV fix with these products, it will even go as far as possibly protecting your phone from the minor bumps and bruises it might take without a case. So far there is no information regarding pricing with an estimated target release date within the first half of the year.
