FCC approves Nokia Symbian smartphones – N91 (4GB) and E70 (QWERTY)

FCC just approved two of Nokia's latest Symbian smartphones – the N91 and E70. Both are tri-band GSM phones (plus UMTS 2100MHz) and feature 262k color displays, 2-megapixel cameras and Symbian v9.1 Operating System over S60 3rd edition user interface. GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi are supported by the both phones.




The N91 is a music oriented slider phone, with music-dedicated keys and 4GB hard drive, which can store up to 1200 songs in MP3. Nokia N91 main features are:

  • 4 GB HHD drive
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB
  • 2.0 megapixels camera with video capture
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • FM radio with recording

The E70 opens, revealing a full QWERTY keyboard, turning it into powerful messaging device, running on Symbian. The display has 262k colors and resolution of 352x416 pixels, and operates in landscape mode, when the full keyboard is used. E70 main features are:
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB
  • 2.0 megapixels camera with video capture
  • miniSD slot for memory expansion
