Evidence shows Motorola duo DROID SHADOW and DROID 2 coming soon to Verizon
Just the other day we reported that Motorola and Verizon were teaming up to offer 2 Android handsets in July. We had figured that since the DROID SHADOW (MB810) had been caught in the weight room, that model would be one of the phones. The DROID SHADOW does not have a physical QWERTY keyboard according to the device's workout partners, one of whom is now collecting unemployment as we mentioned to you. That makes the picture of the new keyboard below very interesting. If it doesn't belong to the MB810, which phone does it belong to? Speculation is that it belongs to the DROID 2. Note the microphone key that brands it as an Android QWERTY. If it is for the sequel to the DROID, it looks much easier to type on than the current hardware, with some roundness to the keys.

Also discovered on Friday was a couple of screenshots from the Verizon inventory system. One photo showed model A955, also known as the Motorola DROID 2, found in Ontario,California. Looks like the sequel to one of Big Red's quickest selling phones will be ready sooner than expected. The other handset pictured in inventory is the MB810, also resting in Onario, California. That model number corresponds with the DROID SHADOW. So we have two Motorola Android models supposedly coming to Verizon in July and we have some evidence that the DROID SHADOW and DROID 2-both manufactured by the Schaumburg based firm-will soon be available for the carrier. You do the math.
